Só se Faz o Caminho Caminhando ~ The Path is Made only in the Walking

Read in English Depois de pernoitarmos no Hotel Pinheiro  Manso ,  continuamos a nossa jornada partindo da cidade deSeara, Portugal. Iniciamos o nosso percurso bem cedo, caminhando ao longo de uma bela praça arborizada e também por uma parte mais antiga da cidade, beirando o Rio Lima. A travessia do Rio Lima foi feita através de uma antiga Ponte Romana e Medieval. Percorremos 23 quilômetros de estradas e trilhas, passando por pequenas aldeias históricas que são verdadeiras cartões postais. A parte mais difícil deste dia foi quando tivemos que escalar por pelo menos três horas uma montanha íngreme, cuja trilha era só pedras. Com muito custo chegamos ao topo da montanha e quando achamos que já tínhamos chegado, tivemos que enfrentar uma descida cheia de pedras soltas e cascalho até chegarmos ao nosso destino, que era a comunidade de São Roque. Ler em Português  After an overnight stay at Hotel Pinheiro Manso , on  day six our journey continued from the town of  Seara, Portugal. We started out early along a beautiful tree-lined plaza and then through an older part of the town following the Lima River. Crossing the river on the medieval Ponte Romana (Roman Bridge), we proceeded through 14 miles of roads and pathways, through ancient picturesque villages, and up a steep rocky and  mountainous trail. And when we thought we had arrived, we were confronted with an equally rough downhill climb strewn with rocks and loose gravel before finally arriving at our destination, the village of São Roque. This was by far the most challenging day of our walk. Ler em Portugês Our journey to Santiago de Compostela began in the city of Porto, in the north of Portugal. On the first day we started out early and made our way down to the Douro River. Passing under the Arrábida Bridge, we followed west along the river all the way to where it encounters the ocean. From this point we turned north and continued a beautiful 5-hour, 10 mile seaside walk. Read in English A nossa jornada para Santiago de Compostela começou em Porto, no norte de Portugal.  No primeiro dia saímos cedinho para descer até o Rio Douro. Passando por baixo da Ponte da Arrábida acompanhamos o rio até o encontro com o mar. Deste ponto nos dirigimos para o norte e continuamos em uma linda caminhada de mais ou menos cinco horas. Caminhamos 17 kms, beirando mar. Os primeiros passos - saindo do  nosso AirBnb de manhã Ponte da Arrábida O ponto de partida de Porto para o Camino de Santiago é a Sé, onde visitamos um dia antes de começarmos a nossa peregrinação. PAISAGENS E MOMENTOS NA CAMINHADA As passarelas de madeira foram as nossas  trilhas na caminhada  beirando o mar. Caminhamos 31  quilômetros,  sempre seguindo pelas passarelas sem   nenhuma vez  pisar na terra.
